In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The service level established for intervention experiences a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to allow the servicing of all prospects and boost use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
